The Adventures of Iqbal Smith
by Donald G. Stallman

The curiously named Iqbal Smith, aged eleven and a half, lives a lonely but happy life in Sydney Australia. His major problem in life, the bully Metcalf and his gang, pale into insignificance when without warning, his world is turned upside down.

His father Jock, a world famous Astronomer, returns home from a top secret visit to the US. Jock is different somehow, but refuses to share his secret with his best mate, Iqbal. The action erupts when Jock returns to the US, this time forever.

As a roller coaster ride of events dramatically unfolds, the world is plunged into chaos not experienced for over 65 million years. The planet as we’ve known it is finished, and a new home must be found if the human race is to survive. Reluctantly, Iqbal and his father take centre stage, performing heroics unimaginable in their former lives.
Suspense, frantic action, and a story that could really happen, ensure an adventure readers of all ages will find hard to put down.

“Don Stallman has excelled himself with this first instalment of his long awaited Trilogy. A truly enjoyable story, chock full of suspense, danger, joy, and other things that should remain unsaid. It may be too close to reality for some. I rate it as a must read for everyone from 8 to 80!”
Daily Post

“...Throw together a mix of dangerous reality and breathtaking fantasy, combined with a tightly written story and endearing characters, and we have a book that is unputdownable.”
